An intimate Twin Cities elopement for two in the Northwoods of Minnesota.
Jennae and I met all the way in Portland, OR 4+ years ago at an intimate retreat for business owners. A fantastic poet, Jennae was at the time building her business and self publishing her poetry books. As we spent the weekend getting to know each other, she spoke of her partner with deep fondness and companionship that left me in awe. Many years later, when she reached out that they were planning on packing up the car and heading north of the cities to speak their vows in the privacy of a secluded a-frame, I was struck with the feeling of serendipity, something we’d spoken about many years earlier while secluded in the shadows of Mt. Hood. I had the honor of being the only other human there for their intimate Twin Cities elopement and it was an evening that will always hold a special place in my heart.
