At the Lake! A Summer Engagement

At the Lake! A Summer Engagement

It was important to Maddie and Tristan to include the lake in their summer engagement session. When we sat down to plan, we built in a bike ride through the woods, a stop for ice cream, and decided to wrap up our time together with this pontoon ride at sunset. Wildfires blazed just north of Minnesota, causing a a dreamy haze as the sun set on the horizon. I wanted these to feel lived in, full of heart and cozy, and never forced or too manipulated. Their love was so easy to capture, you can feel it in every sideways glance and little touch.
